This scope of work is focused on building systems affecting energy use, including shell infiltration and heat loss. It does not include smoke and fire detection/prevention equipment or plug load equipment such as computers, copiers, etc. The mechanical building systems to be covered include, but are not limited to, the following as applicable to each building:

Central plant, chillers, cooling towers, air conditioning units, boilers, primary and secondary pumping systems, air handling units, terminal or variable air volume (VAV) boxes, motors, steam traps, dampers, pumps, air ducts, lighting, and building automation/control systems including system programming/sequence of operations, drives, sensors, and lighting controls.

The Contractor shall provide engineering and commissioning expertise to conduct retro-commissioning planning, scoping, testing, investigation, evaluation, analysis, calculations and modeling, recommendations, and report writing services for for the building specified in this document.

This project should include analysis and include in reports/deliverables the description of the Mechanical building systems to explain what is involved to Re-Commission, including what can and should be evaluated and improved
