Construction Inspection Services

• As part of an ID/IQ contract, Setty & Associates, Ltd. furnished the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities to perform the following services for the USDA.

• As part of our support, S&A staff developed written comments and made entries to the USDAâs I-manage website. This system was used in consultation with the Project Officer on matters of scope, cost, opinion, interpretation, or where codes and standards conflict.
• Assisted the DCD/WASC in reviewing the required shop drawings, submittals, from the contractor including drawings, specifications, shop drawings, product literature, samples, substitutions and estimated costs for miscellaneous projects.
• Assisted the DCD/WASC in monitoring and facilitating Federal Government environmental compliance and reviewing certifications of inspections and tests.
• Monitoring construction inspection efforts of the contractors and conducting periodic observations of the work in progress. Providing weekly construction observation reports and other administrative tasks.
• Providing construction monitoring services on weekends and/or after-hours as required.
• Monitoring close-out procedures and reviewing close-out submittals for completeness and compliance with the contract documents.
• Actively managing a formal "Review and Comments" process as follows.
• S&A inspectors are assisting the in-house project managers on miscellaneous in-house projects with field surveys, schematic designs, specifications, cost estimates and other aspects of the projects.
