Setty & Associates provided electrical and plumbing support for new medical process equipment: Model 930 Laser. The new equipment requires 230 V, 60 amp service, ground wire connected to distribution panel, wall-mounted receptacle, and a 110 V wall outlet for slit lamp. The cold water supply needs to be a minimum of 14 inches above floor, while the temperature for cooling of the laser is to be no greater than 85O F. A drain with P-trap was necessary to accommodate the hose, and the engineering of the system required the valve location to be accessible to users. Moreover, a dedicated water drain
was provided for the laser and all installations met code.
