U.S. AID Building
DOE -2 Energy Analysis
Lima, Peru

CEC/MW Engineering Excellence Honor Award

On this international project, Setty & Associates provided the USAID a DOE-2 energy analysis to develop an optimal sustainable design based upon ASHRAE 90.1, PBS-P100, and 10 CFR 435 criteria.

We supplied both initial cost and life cycle cost over 25 year. Moreover, alternative systems were developed utilizing actual building and climate conditions and utility rates and LCC models were developed for comparison.

The 35% design documents were based upon S&A’s recommendations for the energy systems. Our tailored work for the USAID resulted in a 20% reduction in energy consumption.
