Opened in 1910, the green-domed museum on the D.C. Mall was among the first Smithsonian buildings constructed to house and couple the nation’s historic collections with preeminent research facilities.

Given a long standing relationship with the Smithsonian Institution, Setty & Associates was engaged to perform A/E Services for the National Museum. Our professional design services included:

• The preparation of an HVAC System Report on the Exhibit Repair Shops
• Design development for and electrical panel and distribution system upgrade
• The preparation of a study of the existing lighting and power panel layout
• Providing revisions and upgrades to meet code requirements on the above systems
