Boggarm Setty, P.E., ASHRAE Fellow, is a member of the technical committee developing ASHRAE Standard 189, which could become an industry basis of championing sustainable design. This new standard is targeted to offer 30% less energy use than ASHRAE 90.1-2007 and enables carbon based equivalencies.
