This SETTY project achieved LEED Platinum Certification for the MEP/FP design of Dunbar High School that is 343,000 square feet, including an Auditorium of approximately 7,000 sf with 450 seating capacity. Our designs included mechanical systems for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Suppression, Fire Alarm, and Elevators. Part of the energy optimization engineering challenge that we set for ourselves, was to include two 20,000-gallon Cisterns for Collecting and Reusing Rainwater. As a result this helped the client realize 26.92% Energy Savings and 28.2% Cost Savings in Comparison with the Baseline Design.  This project is nationally-recognized and is known to have the largest urban Geothermal System in Washington, D.C.  Dunbar H.S. was once called the "Greenest School in the World", by the USGBC.  https://www.eesi.org/articles/view/d.c.s-dunbar-high-school-becomes-the-greenest-school-in-the-world
