The DC Department of General Services (DGS) has taken over a project to build the new Congress Heights Recreation Center that will include enhanced amenities such as a gymnasium, kitchen, flexible computer lounge, full size basketball court, fitness centers, restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, storage spaces, and multipurpose spaces for the community. The project will also replace the existing playground and include additional park space improvements. SETTY is proud to join the District in its commitment to achieving success by delivering capital construction projects on-time and on-budget.

For a project that will benefit the great Congress Heights community, SETTY services include M/E/P/FP design, LEED, BIM/Revit Modeling and Construction Administration for the new and larger recreation center that meets most of the community’s programmatic and recreational needs. In addition to the spaces mentioned above, DPR envisions a recreation center with biophilic design elements.
