Port Authority of New York and New Jersey - JFK Terminal 5, EV Charging Station, New York, NY

John F. Kennedy International Airport, recognized as one of the busiest and most renowned airports in the United States, spans over an extensive area of about 4,930 acres. It boasts six passenger terminals, numbered from 1 to 8, that have undergone continuous enhancements to provide an exceptional travel experience. SETTY services include design support and staff augmentation for the Terminal 5 Charging Station Project at JFK Airport. The airport has consistently pursued expansions and renovations to upgrade its infrastructure and ensure passenger satisfaction.

State University of New York - Cobleskill, Facilities Complex Design, Cobleskill, NY

The State University of New York at Cobleskill is a distinguished public college situated in Cobleskill, New York. This project at SUNY Cobleskill focuses on improving the conditions and functionality of the Facilities Complex Buildings.

SETTY services include MEP design, Energy Modeling, Construction Administration and Condition Assessment for the 25,568 SF Mackey Facilities Complex at SUNY Cobleskill. Our comprehensive scope include designing additions such as site photometrics and lighting, the implementation of electric vehicle charging stations within the parking lot, the integration of a dust collection system, and the incorporation of a vehicle exhaust capture system.

North Virginia Community College - Annandale Charging Station #2, Annandale, VA

With its expansive campus comprising 14 buildings and serving a diverse student body of over 18,000 individuals each year, the NVCC Annandale campus is the largest NOVA campus site. In line with their commitment to providing exceptional facilities, and to enhance its offerings SETTY provided Electrical design services to accommodate two new dual port electric car charging stations in the existing parking garage of the NVCC Annandale campus. This addition will cater to the growing demand for electric vehicle charging and support sustainable transportation options for the campus community.

 
 

District of Columbia Public Schools - MacFarland Middle School, Washington, DC

MacFarland, originally established in 1923, underwent several expansions in subsequent years. The building now encompasses approximately 110,000 square feet. Situated in the lower part of Ward 4, MacFarland is part of a vast 36-acre public complex that includes DCPS public schools, public charter schools, the Petworth Neighborhood Library, and the Upshur Recreation Center. The recreation center boasts amenities such as an outdoor pool, a baseball field, and various other park and recreational facilities.

SETTY services for the comprehensive renovation of MacFarland Middle School, encompassing an area of approximately 110,000 square feet includes MEP/FP design-build approach. In addition to this renovation, the scope also includes design of Electric Vehicle charging stations at the parking facility.

 

Arlington County, Infrastructure Installation for EV Charging Stations, Courthouse Plaza Building, Arlington, VA

Situated at 2100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, VA, this Class A office building spans an impressive 260,000 square feet. It comprises a mix of private sector office spaces, the Arlington County Government headquarters, and a distinguished residential apartment property. Notably, Arlington County has leased office space within this building. SETTY was entrusted with the responsibility of designing and installing the necessary infrastructure for 20 renewable electric vehicle charging stations at this site. This initiative demonstrates a commitment to supporting sustainable transportation options and aligning with the evolving needs of the modern workforce.

Arlington, VA

Within the county, the Bureau oversees three refueling sites that cater to a fleet of 1,148 vehicles, offering regular unleaded gasoline as well as bio-diesel alternative fuels. To further enhance their services and support sustainable transportation, Setty was contracted to design and install the necessary infrastructure for 6 renewable electric vehicle charging stations at these locations.

Bowie Indoor Sports Facility, Bowie, MD

In addition to providing MEP/FP design services for the 77,000 square feet Indoor Sports Facility, SETTY also played a crucial role in designing the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at the parking facility. The parking lot is equipped with six EVS charging stations that are UL listed (UL 2231-1, UL 2231-2, UL 2594) and compliant with NEC Art. 625 regulations. To support these charging stations, a dedicated 250A MCB Panelboard called "EVSE" has been installed in the electrical room. Each EVS charging station is connected to a NEMA 4X disconnect switch (208 volts, 1 phase) mounted on Unistrut support.
